Transit

Your local transit system runs six days a week. Buses serve the City of Quesnel and Electoral Areas “A”, “B”,“C”, “I” of the Cariboo Regional District.

The transit system offers two types of services for riders:

Fixed-route service

Scheduled service to major destinations and residential areas in the City and portions of CRD Electoral Area A.

handyDART

Door-to-door, shared service for people who are unable to take the fixed-route service.

Service is provided to residents in the City and to the service areas of Electoral Areas A, B, C, and I.

About the transit system

Funding for your local transit system is cost-shared between the City of Quesnel and BC Transit.  Additional funding is provided through a partnership with the Cariboo Regional District.

Decisions on fares, routes and service levels are made by the City Council based on public feedback and information provided by BC Transit. Buses are operated by Passenger Contracted Transportation Services Ltd.
