In conjunction with Phase 1 of the project, and as per the Lhtako Dene Cultural Interpretative Plan, the park will see cultural monuments, benches, sculptures, and perennial garden beds. Also included will be electrical upgrades to improve event hosting at the park.  This project is 100% funded through the Destination Development Fund.

We enjoy working with the Lhtako Dene Nation on this project and continuing to recognize their traditional territory, history, and cultural presence throughout the Quesnel area. This park will be a place where people can gather, learn, celebrate culture, help build community and strengthen relationships.
