ourQuesnel Today

Be a part of ourQuesnel

Meaningful public participation is essential to creating an ICSP and ourQuesnel belongs to everybody who works, lives or plays in Quesnel. Whether you are a business, a resident, a visitor or a member of another community, we want to hear from you.

There are several ways you can get involved and stay informed:

1. ourQuesnel Sustainability Task Force

Talk to your task force members to let them know your thoughts on community sustainability and Quesnel's future.

2. Get involved

Feel free to incorporate any of the ourQuesnel Strategy Areas and associated icons for your grant applications, reports, presentations, inititives etc.

For print and web quality icons, right click on the icons to the right and click save as to save the icon to your computer.

We would love to know if you've been able to incorporate our icons! Let us know here.

3. Be informed

Knowing about, and understanding, the many initiatives taking place in our community is vital. Be aware of your governments , local, regional, provincial and federal, and the initiatives they are proposing. Learn more about how your government works. Attend meetings and read the local newspaper and tune in to local media.

4. Take responsibility

Carpool, recycle, turn off electronics, plant a tree and volunteer - we can all do more to ensure our environment is sustainable for ourselves and our future.

This is, after all, our Quesnel.
