The City collects and treats on average, 346,000,000 US gallons (2012 statistics) of sewage effluent each year. The City has a unique partnership with Cariboo Pulp Mill, in that the Mill treats the City’s sewage, saving the City many thousands of dollars in not having to operate its own treatment plant.
